Intel Core i9-14900KF Leaks On Geekbench

Earlier in the month, alleged details of the desktop Intel Core i9-14900K leaked, providing us with a glimpse of things to come. Recently, a new leak has appeared, this time detailing the performance of an alleged Core i9-14900KF on Geekbench.

Like the 14900K, the 14900KF shares many of the same traits as the former, the main difference between the two being the lack of integrated graphics with the latter. Beyond that, the CPU comes with the same 24-cores, 32 threads configuration, along with the same boost clock of 6GHz.

In regards to the last point, the Geekbench page lists the 14900KF being tested on an ASRock Z790 Taichi motherboard, along with 32GB DDR5 RAM, and a maximum frequency of 5935MHz, which is more or less close to the 6GHz mark. As for its performance, the CPU has reportedly produced no less than three different sets of single-core and multi-core scores.

The scores range between 2412 and 3347 points on the Geekbench single-core tests, while the multi-core test scores range between 23051 and 26972 points.

By a rough approximation, the 14900KF churns out between 5% and 6% more performance than the 13900K in the multi-core test, and around 12% with the single-core benchmarks. That being said, it is important to note the Geekbench results are typically viewed as a general guideline of what we can expect, and not the gospel truth.

Intel’s Raptor Lake Refresh desktop CPUs are expected to launch in the following month, after the official announcement and launch of Meteor Lake, which is expected to be revealed this month at Intel’s annual InnovatiON event.
